One of Canada’s most in-demand artists, Daniel Mazzone, made his way south to Miami for Art Basel, and his ‘Larger Than Life’ show did not disappoint!

After 2 years off due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Daniel returned to Florida with his massive art pieces and his new YUME and KUMA Sculptures too alongside his brand new furniture line.

Prior to the show, Daniel told us, “This is my first show in two years. I wanted this to be my biggest show yet. All the works will be anywear from 6 to 14 feet long. I wanted the viewer to feel as if they were a part of the artwork.”

And he was not wrong. With 1800 guests lining up at 1 Hotel South Beach to get in, Daniel’s artwork was on display inside, and his pieces that sold ranged anywhere between $40K – $125K… not bad for an artist from Canada who years back was homeless and just trying to get the word out about his passion.

Some of the VIP guests at this year’s event included: KING PARIS, Domingo Zapata, Jordi Molla, Paolo Zampolli, The Real Housewives of Los Angeles, The Real Housewives of Miami, Lisa and Lenny Hochtstein, Marisol Nichols, Kelley Flanagan, and Magda Khalifa.

Speaking to us after the grand event, Daniel said, “The show was a dream! Thank you to everyone who came and supported my dream. Dreams are something we work on, but they are only magical to share with people you care about. Bless everyone who has supported and came out to Miami this year.”

Daniel is onto London and Dubai next for new shows, with even more incredible pieces of art to be seen!
